Local support

A young suburb, a steady team

The Ponds sits south of Windsor Road, between Kellyville Ridge and Stanhope Gardens. It’s named for the creeks that run through it, including Second Ponds Creek, and the first homes were sold here in 2007. Plenty of families, and participants of every age.

We match you with one support worker rather than sending whoever is rostered on. New to the area, or new to the NDIS? Call and we’ll talk it through. No forms, no pressure.

Our founder, Shazia Begum, has worked alongside people living with disability for more than 15 years. That experience sits behind every match we make between a participant and a support worker.

Getting started

Four steps. No long forms.

Step 1

Call or send an enquiry

A short conversation. We want to understand what you actually need.

Step 2

We listen

Your situation, your goals, what matters most. You explain it once, not to five different people.

Step 3

We match

The right support worker, not whoever is free. Someone who suits your needs and the way you communicate.

Step 4

Support starts

First visit with the person we discussed. We check in and adjust as you go.

FAQ

Questions The Ponds families ask us

Do you provide NDIS support in The Ponds?

Yes. The Ponds is in Blacktown City, the same council area as our Colebee office, and we support NDIS participants across the suburb.

What happens if my regular support worker is sick?

We organise cover and let you know as early as we can, so a visit isn’t simply cancelled without warning.

Will I get the same support worker each visit?

Yes. Once we’ve matched you with a support worker, the same person keeps coming. You don’t have to explain your routine to someone new every week, and we keep you and your family updated as things change.

Do I need an NDIS plan before I call?

No. Call us even if you’re still waiting on a plan or aren’t sure what it covers, and we’ll talk through what’s possible. We support agency-managed, plan-managed and self-managed participants.

How can I check Kinship is a registered NDIS provider?

Our registration number is 4-GWVHCEY. Anyone can look up a provider on the NDIS Commission’s Provider Register by name or ABN. It’s free and takes about two minutes, and our guide on this site walks you through it.
