Companionship and outings, with someone you know
Company at home, a hand at appointments, a trip to the shops or a coffee with friends. The same support worker each time, booked privately with no plan or referral needed.
- No referral or funding needed
- Same support worker every visit
- Price: call for a quote, confirmed in writing
When the week feels long
Some people want company. Some want someone beside them at the shops or the specialist. Most want both, from a person they actually know.
Living alone
Someone to talk to, play cards with, or walk to the corner shop alongside. A visit that becomes part of the week.
Getting out to what you enjoy
Cafés, the library, the club, a class. With or without NDIS funding for it.
Families who live far away
When you can’t be there every week, you know someone is, and you hear how it went.
After illness or a hospital stay
Confidence can take a while to come back. A familiar person beside you for the first few outings.
At home, and out and about
At home
- Conversation, a cuppa, a shared meal
- Hobbies: cards, puzzles, music, gardening, old photos
- Help writing letters, making calls or using a phone or tablet
- Light meal preparation while we’re there
Out and about
- Going with you to GP, specialist and hospital appointments
- Shopping, the bank, the post office, the library
- Cafés, parks, the club, church, mosque or temple
- Visiting family and friends
- Community events and classes
Getting there
We don’t provide transport as part of this service. Your support worker goes with you; how you both travel, whether that’s the bus or train, a taxi, a family member driving or your own arrangements, is agreed when you book.
Not part of companionship
- Driving or transport
- Hands-on personal care (see personal care)
- Medical advice, or managing money or decisions for you
Four steps, no long forms
Call us
Ring 0437 733 744 or send an enquiry. Tell us what’s going on, in your own words.
A quick chat
We ask about your routines, your home and what matters to you. You explain it once, not to five different people.
Written quote and agreement
What’s included, when, and the price, all in writing. Your final price is confirmed before anything is booked.
Same worker, every visit
A named support worker starts, and the same person keeps coming. With your OK, we keep your family in the loop.
Using NDIS or aged care funding instead?
From 1 October 2026, the NDIA is reducing Social, Economic and Community Participation budgets as plans are created or reassessed (or renewed from 1 February 2027). If your funded hours change, private outings can sit alongside what your plan covers.
NDIS participants
We’re a registered NDIS provider (4-GWVHCEY). Outings and social activities may be funded under community participation in your NDIS plan.
Community participation →Aged care (CHSP)
Our CHSP funding covers domestic assistance only, in Northern Sydney and the Southern Highlands. Social support for older people under government funding is available via referral or partners.
Aged care →Support at Home
We’re applying to deliver Support at Home and can’t take clients under it yet. Register your interest and we’ll be in touch.

Do I need a referral or funding to book?
No. Companionship and outings can be booked privately by anyone, for themselves or for someone they care about. No referral, plan or assessment is needed.
Can the support worker drive me?
We don’t provide transport as part of this service. Your support worker can go with you, and how you travel (public transport, a taxi, a family member driving, or your own arrangements) is agreed when you book.
Can someone come with me to medical appointments?
Yes. Your support worker can go with you, help you remember the questions you wanted to ask and note down what was said. They don’t give medical advice; that stays with your doctor.
Will it be the same person each time?
Yes. You get a named support worker, and the same person keeps coming. That’s the point: company works best with someone you know.
How long is a visit?
That’s up to you: a short visit for a coffee, or a longer outing. Tell us what you have in mind and we’ll quote for it in writing.
Who pays for coffees, tickets and meals out?
We agree this with you when you book, and it’s written into your agreement, so nothing comes as a surprise on the day.
My mum doesn’t want “a carer”. What can we do?
It often helps to frame it as company rather than care. The first visit can simply be a cup of tea and a chat at home, at her pace. Call us and we’ll talk through how to start.
Can my family get updates?
Yes. Carer updates are standard for us. With the client’s permission, we let family know how visits are going.
Greater Sydney, from our base in Colebee
We provide companionship and outings across Greater Sydney, and we’re strongest in the north-west: Colebee, Blacktown, Rouse Hill, Kellyville, Riverstone and Windsor. Further out? Call us. If we can’t staff your suburb or your times, we’ll tell you plainly on the first call.
Let’s find the right person
Tell us a bit about who the visits are for and what they enjoy. We’ll be honest about whether we can help, then put a quote in writing.
Final price confirmed in writing before any booking. See our private prices →
