Continence products and support
Bladder and bowel leakage is common, and it can be managed. Here’s who to talk to, what funding can help, and where to buy adult nappies, including from Equipit, part of our family of businesses.
- Start with your GP or a continence nurse
- Funding pointers: CAPS, NDIS and aged care
- You’re free to buy from any supplier
Order Equipit adult nappies
Choose a size and press Order. You’ll go straight to Equipit’s secure checkout with that item already in your cart.
Equipit is the product-supply arm of Kinship Uniting Services, an NDIS registered and CHSP approved provider since 2017. It’s part of the same family of businesses, and you’re free to buy continence products from any supplier. Prices are in Australian dollars as listed on equipitdsp.com on 4 October 2026; the store shows the current price and delivery cost before you pay. Equipit isn’t an NDIS registered provider, so it can’t be paid from an agency-managed NDIS plan. If you’re self-managed or plan-managed, check with your plan manager first.

Anyone looking for continence help
Continence Health Australia says 7.2 million people over 15 in Australia experience incontinence, and 70% of them are younger than 65. It isn’t only an older person’s issue, and it isn’t something to sort out alone.
Managing it yourself
You want products that work for you, without having to explain yourself to anyone.
Buying for someone you love
A parent, partner or adult child. Maybe for the first time, and not sure which size to choose.
NDIS participants
Continence supports can be funded when they relate to your disability. How your plan is managed decides where you can buy.
Providers and facilities
Aged care homes, group homes and disability providers buying in bulk cartons.
Talk to your GP or a continence nurse first
Before you settle on products, get checked. The NDIS’s own guideline on continence says to talk to your doctor first, and Medicare helps with the cost of services to test and diagnose incontinence. A continence nurse can assess what’s going on, work out which products suit you, and review that plan over time.
National Continence Helpline: 1800 33 00 66
Free and confidential, staffed by nurse continence specialists, Monday to Friday 8am to 8pm AEST. They can help with funding schemes (CAPS, NDIS and My Aged Care), product recommendations, suppliers and samples. Interpreters and the National Relay Service are available.
General information only, not medical advice. Your GP or health team knows your situation.
Help with the cost
Three places funding can come from. Our free guide covers each one in more detail, with a printable checklist.
Continence Aids Payment Scheme
A yearly, non-taxable payment from Services Australia, up to $739.40 per person for 2026–27. For people aged 5 and over with permanent and severe incontinence and an eligible condition. It’s paid to you, so you choose where to buy.
Who can get CAPS →NDIS continence supports
The NDIS may fund continence supports, such as pads, nappies and bed protection, when they relate to your disability. You’ll usually need a continence assessment as evidence. NDIA-managed funds must be spent with a registered NDIS provider.
NDIS continence funding →Support at Home
If you get Support at Home, ask your provider what your support plan covers. You can get CAPS and Support at Home at the same time if you meet the CAPS rules.
Aged care help at home →Adult nappies from Equipit
