Colebee is in Blacktown City and part of the North West Growth Area: newer streets, a lot of young families. It’s also where Kinship’s office is. The suburb carries the name of Colebee, the first Aboriginal person in Australia to be given a land grant by Governor Macquarie, in 1819.
Being based in Colebee means our support workers aren’t driving in from across the city to reach you. Small thing. It adds up to a worker who turns up on time and a service that doesn’t feel like it’s run from somewhere else.
Our founder, Shazia Begum, has worked alongside people living with disability for more than 15 years. That experience sits behind every match we make between a participant and a support worker.

Do you provide NDIS support in Colebee?

Will I get the same support worker each visit?
Yes. Once we’ve matched you with a support worker, the same person keeps coming. You don’t have to explain your routine to someone new every week, and we keep you and your family updated as things change.
Do I need an NDIS plan before I call?
No. Call us even if you’re still waiting on a plan or aren’t sure what it covers, and we’ll talk through what’s possible. We support agency-managed, plan-managed and self-managed participants.
What happens if my regular support worker is sick?
We organise cover and let you know as early as we can, so a visit isn’t simply cancelled without warning.
Is there aged care for older people in Colebee?
Our CHSP-funded aged care is domestic assistance in Northern Sydney and the Southern Highlands only, so it doesn’t reach Colebee. We’re applying to deliver Support at Home but can’t take Support at Home clients yet. Private help at home can be booked by anyone.
