Further west, planned properly

Penrith has had its own council since 1871. In 1949 Penrith, St Marys and Castlereagh were brought together under one council, and ten years later Penrith was proclaimed a city. Penrith City Council acknowledges the Darug and Gundungarra people as the traditional owners of the land the city sits on.

Penrith is further from our Colebee office than suburbs like Schofields or Marsden Park. That doesn’t stop us supporting people here. It means we plan visits around the drive, and we tell you on the first call which days and times we can staff, before anything is agreed.

Our founder, Shazia Begum, has worked alongside people living with disability for more than 15 years. That experience sits behind every match we make between a participant and a support worker.

Getting started

Four steps. No long forms.

Step 1

Call or send an enquiry

A short conversation. We want to understand what you actually need.

Step 2

We listen

Your situation, your goals, what matters most. You explain it once, not to five different people.

Step 3

We match

The right support worker, not whoever is free. Someone who suits your needs and the way you communicate.

Step 4

Support starts

First visit with the person we discussed. We check in and adjust as you go.

FAQ

Questions Penrith families ask us

Do you provide NDIS support in Penrith?

Yes. Penrith is further from our Colebee office than most of the suburbs we cover, so we plan visits around the drive. Call us and we’ll be honest about the days and times we can staff.

Will I get the same support worker each visit?

Yes. Once we’ve matched you with a support worker, the same person keeps coming. You don’t have to explain your routine to someone new every week, and we keep you and your family updated as things change.

Do you offer respite in Penrith?

Yes. We provide in-home and community respite, funded through an NDIS plan or booked privately, so a family carer can take a break. Call us and we’ll talk through what would work for your family.

Is there aged care for older people in Penrith?

Our CHSP-funded aged care is domestic assistance in Northern Sydney and the Southern Highlands only, so it doesn’t reach Penrith. We’re applying to deliver Support at Home but can’t take Support at Home clients yet. Private help at home can be booked by anyone.

What if I don’t have NDIS funding?

You can book cleaning, home reorganising and private nursing privately. Private nursing starts from $120 an hour plus GST, and the final price is confirmed in writing before any booking. For anything else, call us for a quote.
