Same face, week after week

Mount Druitt takes its name from Major George Druitt, who was granted 2,000 acres here by Governor Macquarie and called the grant Mount Druitt. Today it’s a Blacktown City suburb with its own station on the T1 line.

Plenty of providers list Mount Druitt as somewhere they cover. What matters more is who actually turns up. We match you with one support worker, and the same person keeps coming, so you aren’t explaining your routine to someone new every week.

Our founder, Shazia Begum, has worked alongside people living with disability for more than 15 years. That experience sits behind every match we make between a participant and a support worker.

Getting started

Four steps. No long forms.

Step 1

Call or send an enquiry

A short conversation. We want to understand what you actually need.

Step 2

We listen

Your situation, your goals, what matters most. You explain it once, not to five different people.

Step 3

We match

The right support worker, not whoever is free. Someone who suits your needs and the way you communicate.

Step 4

Support starts

First visit with the person we discussed. We check in and adjust as you go.

FAQ

Questions Mount Druitt families ask us

Do you provide NDIS support in Mount Druitt?

Yes. Mount Druitt is in Blacktown City, the same council area as our Colebee office, and we support NDIS participants across the suburb.

Will I get the same support worker each visit?

Yes. Once we’ve matched you with a support worker, the same person keeps coming. You don’t have to explain your routine to someone new every week, and we keep you and your family updated as things change.

Can you support complex or high intensity needs in Mount Druitt?

Yes. We’re registered for high intensity supports, and the ones we deliver are complex bowel care, catheter care, wound care, PEG feeding, medication management, and dementia and behaviour support. We’ll talk through your needs, and your health team’s plan, before support starts.

Is there aged care for older people in Mount Druitt?

Our CHSP-funded aged care is domestic assistance in Northern Sydney and the Southern Highlands only, so it doesn’t reach Mount Druitt. We’re applying to deliver Support at Home but can’t take Support at Home clients yet. Private help at home can be booked by anyone.

Do you offer respite in Mount Druitt?

Yes. We provide in-home and community respite, funded through an NDIS plan or booked privately, and we also provide overnight respite and short-term accommodation (STA), so a family carer can take a break. Call us to talk about current availability, and we’ll talk through what would work for your family.
