Local support

An established town, regular visits

St Marys was first known as South Creek. It takes its name from the church of St Mary Magdalene on the Great Western Highway, and the railway station became St Marys in 1885. Penrith City Council describes it as an established town centre, with T1 rail links to the Sydney CBD, Parramatta and the Blue Mountains.

Part of the suburb is in Penrith City and part is in Blacktown City. Whichever side of that line you live on, the support is the same: one worker, matched to your needs and the way you communicate, at times that stay regular.

Our founder, Shazia Begum, has worked alongside people living with disability for more than 15 years. That experience sits behind every match we make between a participant and a support worker.

Getting started

Four steps. No long forms.

Step 1

Call or send an enquiry

A short conversation. We want to understand what you actually need.

Step 2

We listen

Your situation, your goals, what matters most. You explain it once, not to five different people.

Step 3

We match

The right support worker, not whoever is free. Someone who suits your needs and the way you communicate.

Step 4

Support starts

First visit with the person we discussed. We check in and adjust as you go.

FAQ

Questions St Marys families ask us

Do you provide NDIS support in St Marys?

Yes. St Marys is split between Penrith City and Blacktown City, and we support participants on both sides of that line from our Colebee office.

Will I get the same support worker each visit?

Yes. Once we’ve matched you with a support worker, the same person keeps coming. You don’t have to explain your routine to someone new every week, and we keep you and your family updated as things change.

How can I check Kinship is a registered NDIS provider?

Our registration number is 4-GWVHCEY. Anyone can look up a provider on the NDIS Commission’s Provider Register by name or ABN. It’s free and takes about two minutes, and our guide on this site walks you through it.

Do you offer respite in St Marys?

Yes. We provide in-home and community respite, funded through an NDIS plan or booked privately, and we also provide overnight respite and short-term accommodation (STA), so a family carer can take a break. Call us to talk about current availability, and we’ll talk through what would work for your family.

What if I don’t have NDIS funding?

You can book cleaning, home reorganising and private nursing privately. For private nursing, send us an enquiry and we’ll talk it through. The final price is confirmed in writing before any booking. For anything else, call us for a quote.
