Who it’s for

For anyone who needs a hand at home

You don’t need a plan, a letter or a diagnosis on paper. You just need the help.

Older people

Living at home, and staying there

Mornings take longer than they used to. A steady hand in the shower and help getting dressed can make the rest of the day easier.

People with disability

Without NDIS funding, or not enough

Not everyone is eligible for the NDIS, and not every plan stretches to every week. Private care fills the gap.

Recovering

After surgery, illness or a fall

Short-term help while you get back on your feet. A few weeks, or as long as you need it.

Waiting on funding

While the paperwork catches up

NDIS access requests and aged care assessments take time. Private care can start in the meantime.

What’s included

What personal care covers

Personal care is done your way, at your pace. If you already have a routine, we learn it rather than replace it.

Included

We can help with

  • Showering, bathing and personal hygiene
  • Getting dressed and undressed
  • Grooming: hair care, shaving and skin moisturising
  • Toileting and continence routines
  • Getting up and ready for the day, and settling in at night
  • Preparing meals, and help with eating if you need it
  • Medication prompts and reminders, as prescribed
  • A quick tidy of the bathroom and kitchen after care
Not included

Not part of personal care

  • Nursing tasks such as wound care or catheter care (see private nursing)
  • Medical advice or diagnosis: that stays with your GP and health team
  • Driving or transport
  • Regular house cleaning (see home help)

Prefer a woman or a man to help you shower? Tell us on the first call and we’ll be straight with you about whether we can match it.

How booking works

Four steps, no long forms

Step 1

Call us

Ring 0437 733 744 or send an enquiry. Tell us what’s going on, in your own words.

Step 2

A quick chat

We ask about your routines, your home and what matters to you. You explain it once, not to five different people.

Step 3

Written quote and agreement

What’s included, when, and the price, all in writing. Your final price is confirmed before anything is booked.

Step 4

Same worker, every visit

A named support worker starts, and the same person keeps coming. With your OK, we keep your family in the loop.

Funded support

Using NDIS or aged care funding instead?

Private care and funded care can sit side by side. Here’s how the funded side works with us.

NDIS

NDIS participants

We’re a registered NDIS provider (4-GWVHCEY). Under an NDIS plan, personal care sits with daily living support.

Aged care (CHSP)

Our CHSP funding covers domestic assistance only, in Northern Sydney and the Southern Highlands. Personal care for older people under government funding is available via referral or partners.

FAQ

Questions about private personal care

Do I need a referral, an NDIS plan or an aged care assessment?

No. Private personal care is booked directly with us and paid for by you or your family. There’s no referral, assessment or approval to wait for.

Can I book private care while I wait for NDIS or aged care funding?

Yes. Private care can start while an NDIS access request or an aged care assessment is still being worked through. When funding comes through, tell us and we’ll talk through what changes. For NDIS funding, we’re a registered provider (4-GWVHCEY).

Will the same person come each time?

Yes. You get a named support worker, and the same person keeps coming. You don’t have to explain your routine to someone new every week.

How much does private personal care cost?

It depends on what you need and how often. Call 0437 733 744 for a quote. Your final price is confirmed in writing before any booking.

Can a support worker help with medication?

Our support workers can remind and prompt you to take medication as prescribed. If you need more than a reminder, talk to us about private nursing, and check with your GP or pharmacist about what’s safest for you.

Can you support someone living with dementia?

Yes. Dementia support is part of our team’s everyday work. Tell us about the person’s routines, what settles them and what unsettles them, and we’ll plan visits around that.

Can you keep our family updated?

Yes. Carer updates are standard for us. With the client’s permission, we let family know how visits are going and anything that changes.

What if I only need help for a few weeks?

That’s fine. Private care can be short-term, for example while you recover from surgery. If your needs change, call us and we’ll adjust the plan with you.

Where we work

Greater Sydney, from our base in Colebee

We provide private personal care across Greater Sydney, and we’re strongest in the north-west: Colebee, Blacktown, Rouse Hill, Kellyville, Riverstone and Windsor. Further out? Call us. If we can’t staff your suburb or your times, we’ll tell you plainly on the first call.

Talk it through with us

Not sure exactly what you need yet? That’s normal. Call us and we’ll work it out together, then put a quote in writing.
