What Is the NDIS Price Guide for 2026-27 and What Does It Mean for My Plan?

The NDIS price guide for 2026-27, now officially called the NDIS Pricing Arrangements and Price Limits (PAPL), sets the maximum prices registered providers can charge for NDIS supports from 1 July 2026.

What Changed From 1 July 2026

Support worker rates increased by approximately 3.95% in line with the SCHADS Award and superannuation increases. The standard weekday daytime rate for a Level 1 support worker is approximately $70.23 per hour. PrepMyBook

Support Coordination rates remain unchanged — Level 2 (Coordination of Supports) stays at $100.14 per hour and Level 3 (Specialist Support Coordination) stays at $190.54 per hour. Psychosocial Recovery Coach weekday daytime rates increased to $110.44 per hour. The monthly plan management fee remains unchanged at $104.45 per month. MyCareSpace

New support categories were introduced from 1 July 2026, helping providers claim more accurately and helping participants see more clearly what they are being billed for. MyCareSpace

What This Means for Participants

If your provider has updated their rates from 1 July 2026, they are required to discuss any changes to your service agreement with you before making them. You must agree to the changes before they take effect.

If you have been with the same provider for a year, their hourly costs will have gone up. Participants with high-frequency personal care are most at risk of underfunding before their next review. Homage

Check your plan on myplace.ndis.gov.au to confirm your current budgets are adequate against the new rates. If not, a change-of-circumstances request to the NDIA may be appropriate.

Important 2026-27 Note — The NDIS Bill

A Bill introduced to Parliament on 14 May 2026 would give the NDIS Minister the power to make prices legally enforceable for all providers — including unregistered providers who are currently not bound by NDIS price limits. This Bill is subject to Senate review and is not yet law.
